Model of a single integrated information system of university management.

Abstract

This article examines the trends in the development of informatization in solving the complex issues of university management and the quality of the scientific and educational processes. The challenges and problems that higher educational institutions faces in the implementation of ICT are observed. The conceptual model of the information and educational space is presented. The authors propose the ways of development of a corporate information system (CIS) that allows enhancing the university administration and the process of academic performance management system based on the analysis of business processes of the university, as well as defining the components of information and educational environment of the university, The authors examined the goals and objectives of development and implementation of university CIS, determined the structure of CIS, that is a system of projects that form the information support of the University management and is based on the idea of integration. A scheme for information exchange of the information entities of University infrastructure is introduced as well as the concept of the University CIS structure. In conclusion, a brief description of each component of the CIS is given, drawn on the example of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
