Modeling of semantic situations for Kazakh language’s tenses for machine translation

Abstract

This paper proposes a formal description of Kazakh language verbs’ tenses using semantic situations and regular expressions. The features of Kazakh language tenses system, semantic situations and their record in the form of regular expressions are described. With the use of semantic situations Kazakh language tenses system is modeled. An example of proposed solution’s practical use is given. Practical results are presented.
